Overview

Program Structure: A Path for Immediate Impact & Long-Term Growth

As a Manager in the Accelerated Leadership Program you will work directly with senior leaders to own high-profile projects that directly contribute to HubSpot’s strategy and growth trajectory.. Over the course of two years, you will do four rotations embedded in different teams across the business, with rotations hand curated to align with your interests and development needs. By the end of the program, you will possess a strong foundational understanding of how the company operates, as well as greater clarity on where you want to build your career at HubSpot. Upon graduating the program, you will have the opportunity to step into a senior role within the business that matches your interests and skills, as well as the needs of the organization.

Throughout the course of the four rotations, you will receive training and development that advance your ability to solve complex strategic challenges, navigate ambiguity, analyze and apply data to inform decision-making, present to executive audiences, and lead with vulnerability and authenticity.. Specific assignments will be matched based on business needs at the time of each rotation, as well as your interests and development needs. A committee comprised of executives across the business vets and approves project assignments to ensure each assignment will help move the needle for the company, while at the same time continuing to round out your development as a future leader at HubSpot.

Example projects that former and current Accelerated Leaders have worked on include:

  • Product Strategy & Operations – Evaluating the market opportunity for a new product line, including customer need, competitive environment, key product features, & pricing and packaging
  • Corporate Development – Leading diligence and integration efforts for key strategic acquisitions like PieSync and The Hustle
  • People Strategy – Leading a cross-functional team to develop HubSpot’s three year strategy around international office expansion, remote work, and talent management
  • Marketing Strategy & Operations – Driving HubSpot’s annual demand planning process to forecast estimated new sign-ups and customer conversion rates

Beyond working on impactful projects within your rotations, participation in the Accelerated Leadership Program also includes:

  • Regular opportunities to executive leadership across HubSpot to discuss executive strategy, debate HubSpot’s growth path, and solicit feedback and insights on the projects you’re working on
  • Dedicated executive advisor for your two years in the ALP to provide coaching on career development within and beyond the program
  • Dedicated mentorship from a second-year ALP who will provide coaching and guidance to ramp up at HubSpot
  • Opportunities to work on high-visibility projects and programs outside of your rotation
  • Active participation in finding the next generation of ALP managers– recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and mentoring full-time and intern MBAs
