Overview

At Propel, our mission is to build modern, respectful, and effective financial tools for Americans with limited incomes. Over 5 million people use our app, Providers, to manage the benefits they use to keep their family well-fed and healthy, stay up to date on critical government programs, save money and earn impact. Read more about the impact of Providers here. Now we’ve expanded further into the financial services space, offering the best banking option for low-income Americans.

Our Business Development Manager will identify and deliver high-quality content for Providers users, curating relevant deals to help them make it through the month. In doing so, you will be responsible for bringing in new commercial customers in key industries for the Providers marketplace. You’ll own the new sales pipeline from start to finish — independently sourcing, setting up sales meetings, pitching, and closing new, high-value customers who need to reach our specific audience. In addition to bringing in new customers, you will also be responsible for growing accounts and our relationships with Propel’s strategic partners and customers. As a member of the business development team, you’ll play a critical role in growing our revenue and boosting the Providers brand in core customer industries.

Propel offers a unique opportunity to create social impact at scale. We’re a for-profit company backed by some of Silicon Valley’s top investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, and the Omidyar Network. If you’re looking to leverage your skills for social impact, come join us!
