ABOUT THE ROLE

Interior Define is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the leadership team’s overall business operations management, to help implement cross-function processes and to aid in the day to day efficiency of the Chief Executive Officer.

We want a strong analytical, grounded and thoughtful person to partner with our leadership team to help us deliver on our company promise of selling custom home furnishings through our exceptional Design Specialist members and our online and in-store Design Studio experiences. We are fast-growing and need a Chief of Staff who wants to fix a CEO’s travel plans and manage an effective Company All Hands meeting, on the same day. You will be joining the Chief Business Officer’s team, supporting People, Real Estate, Growth and Legal.

Responsibilities

    • Strategic time management of the CEO, scheduling, calendar coordination and prioritization and travel
    • Strategic partner and trusted advisor to the leadership team, including operational support and communication to and from the Board of Directors
    • Through collaboration and cross-function coordination, prepare, polish and distribute materials for Weekly Exec Staff Meeting, Monthly All Hands Meetings and Quarterly Board of Director meetings.
    • Constantly improve company meetings and working sessions to be more effective and productive, driving the business forward through “doing” versus “talking.”
    • Review internal and external communications for the leadership team: draft reports, pitch decks, speeches, copy and/or presentations as requested by leadership
    • Build internal relationships with key stakeholders of the business, garnering a cross-functional perspective, listening and taking notes in department staff meeting and department reviews
    • Partner with the Chief Business Officer to identify, help design and implement the execution of company-wide strategic initiativesLeverage technology and data analytics to promote data driven decisions
    • Create and update dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators
    • Ad hoc analysis, management or implementation as needed

About the Candidate

    • 4+ years in a business or executive management role or similar leadership experience in military, family owned or small business
    • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
    • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
    • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
    • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
    • Solid understanding of business finance concepts and financial analysis
    • Google Suite, Slack and Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Tableau proficiency or ability to learn quickly
    • SalesForce experience is a plus
    • Experience in a consumer focused industry

Salary Range

    • $85K – $120K
