The Tackle People team is looking for a Compensation Program Manager reporting to the Head of People/Culture to support the design and implementation of multiple programs. This role requires a strong operational compensation analyst who will build successful collaborations with cross-functional partners and with a proactive and creative approach to align our total rewards philosophy that includes compensation along with our people-first culture.

In This Role You Will:

    • Lead the planning and administration of bi-annual merit cycle and bonus program for employees across US & Canada
    • Provide analysis to guide the design, implementation and administration of all compensation programs and tools
    • Implement new benchmark survey, Radford, to support our mission to assess competitive pay on a regular basis
    • Lead and design an equity refresh program, in partnership with finance, as part of a longer term incentive program
    • Partner with People Ops to optimally configure and enhance business processes, compensation rule plans, grades and grade profiles, compensation packages, and equity program alignment
    • Partner with HRBP’s, Talent Acquisition, People Ops, L&D teams to align on business objectives and to collaborate on talent solutions as a cross-functional team.
    • Develop compelling and relevant training/communications plan to educate and inform manager/employees on all compensation programs materials
    • Continually evaluate compensation programs to ensure they are legally compliant, competitive, equitable, aligned with the overall compensation philosophy, and driving the appropriate business results
    • Manage and analyze complex datasets to distill insights and convey findings; build tools as required to improve efficiency
    • Provide ad-hoc support and develop strong cross-functional partnerships to support business needs
    • Participate in research and analysis for new compensation policies and programs

You Should Have:

    • Compensation/People role from start-up to mid/large size organization to have experienced scaling compensation programs
    • 5+ years experience in a compensation role on a People/HR team
    • Cross-functional experience influencing decisions at all levels in an organization with a people-first and change management mindset
    • Designing and building a compensation program
    • Knowledge of private equity and experience with designing and/or being part of an equity design program
    • Agile mindset is a must, given the building phase of this function, it is key to have demonstrated experience in fast paced environments.

Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with Paylocity and / or option driver
