We are a profitable and fast-growing healthcare technology startup — a small and mighty team of 140 helping people find, enroll in and use ACA health coverage. We’ve doubled in each of the past two years and are now the largest ACA enrollment platform after Healthcare.gov, having helped over 9 million people enroll in health coverage. About the Role

We are looking for individuals based in Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia with attention to detail, adaptability, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills to join our Consumer Advocate team for a seasonal contract opportunity. You will be fully remote and you will need reliable internet access for the duration of the role. Joining HealthSherpa will give you the opportunity to gain expert level knowledge within the health insurance industry.

You Will:

    • Have the opportunity to become a licensed health insurance agent
    • Help consumers understand how health insurance works
    • Enroll consumers in health coverage

You Have:

    • Previous customer service experience
    • 3+ years of combined education, work, and/or volunteer experience
    • A dedicated work area separated from other living areas that provides information privacy
    • Residency in Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee, or Virginia

Nice To Have:

    • Previous experience in a call center environment
    • Health insurance experience
    • Affordable Care Act and health policy knowledge
    • Bilingual (Spanish)
