Jama is seeking a Contract Administrator within our Legal team to support our continued business growth. In this position, you will be responsible for the administration of documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and/or partners. This position is highly collaborative with partners as a representative of the Jama legal team; assisting partners in reaching resolution while also ensuring compliance with policies and standard methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Drafting, evaluation, and negotiation of assigned contracts in accordance with legal department policies and practices:
    • Non-disclosure Agreements, Sales and Purchasing Agreements, Master Agreements, Software Licensing Agreements, Consulting Agreements, review of customer or vendor proposed terms and conditions
    • Partnership Agreements (resellers, referral partners, joint marketing, etc.)
    • Commercial and Public (Federal, State and Local Municipalities) Contracting
  • Work closely with internal team (attorney, finance, sales, services, and other partners) and external parties on assigned contractual matters, ensuring timely review and approval of terms
  • Provide red-lined recommendations and negotiate directly with customer until consensus has been reached
  • Clearly explain contract terminology and interpretation to internal and external partners in everyday language
  • Maintain records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, changes, and additional documents for all projects
  • Follow procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy
  • Coordinate and report to legal department leadership on customer happiness with our terms and contracting practices
  • Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all parties to provide contract transparency and awareness, interpretation to support implementation


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, paralegal certificate, J.D., or equivalent years of experience
  • Previous experience in Software/SaaS industry is required
  • Experience working within a corporate contract or legal department is helpful
  • Exposure to privacy agreements and regulations such as GDPR and CCPA is helpful
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
