Overview

We are recruiting for a Junior Contracts Manager to work in the EMEA Contracts Department located in the UK, to support the team responsible for all Contracts matters for the EMEA Region.   Primarily, the Role will support the ContractsEMEA team as required and take on specific responsibilities as the role develops.  Persons with more senior roles/experience will be considered and this is an opportunity for the right candidate to assist in the further development of this vital team.

Roles and responsibilities: 

  • Supporting Snr Contracts Manager and current Contracts Manager

  • Co-ordinating/allocating general contracts requests for the Region

  • Creating first drafts of SailPoint:

  • NDAs

  • Partner/Reseller Terms

  • Software Licence Agreements

  • Schedules to Partner Terms

  • Schedules to pre-existing customer agreements

  • Statements of Work (professional services)

  • Saas agreements

  • Depending on experience, negotiating:

  • Third Party NDAs/changes requested to SP NDAs

  • Partner/Reseller Terms

  • Subject to relevant experience – negotiating general agreements with clients and partners in line with SailPoint Commercial Policies.

  • Providing first line responses to contract/legal queries in RFPs

  • Assisting in closing signed contracts, including:

  • Issuing Delivery Notices for all Software and Cloud services orders

  • Filing of signed agreements

  • Updating Salesforce “contracts closing” records

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years working in similar role in Software company and commercial environment

  • Contracts Training/CPD trained/ILEX/IACCM/CIPFA – or equivalent years’ experience in similar role

  • Working knowledge of:

  • Software licensing

  • SaaS solution agreements

  • Consultancy/professional services agreements

  • Partner Agreements

  • NDAs/Confidentiality Agreements

  • Revenue Recognition matters

  • Applicable UK Law (incl., Data Protection), Competition, Contracts law, Corporate, IPR)

  • Excellent attention to detail in drafting – methodical, organised and process driven

  • English as first language – excellent communication skills – written and verbal

  • Ability to work well with related teams (including Sales, SalesOps, Finance)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Salesforce (training offered)

  • Ability to manage multiple matters, under pressure and in line with Quarter-End and Year-End timescales.

  • Proficient in contract database/management systems

  • Ability to work without supervision

Optional:
