About the Role
Aurora Solar is looking for its first Customer Marketing Manager to build and manage customer programs to drive deeper customer relationships and increase renewals, referrals, and expansion opportunities. Our ideal candidate is an all-around marketing athlete who loves to bring customer stories to life, obsesses over CRM and campaign data, and knows how to turn big ideas into action. This is a highly collaborative role that requires working closely with our Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
What You’ll Do
- Design, launch, and scale strategic customer programs that promote customer advocacy, thought leadership, and community, including executive roundtables, networking events, our flagship events, etc
- Build rapport with customers and build the customer reference database to power our internal teams and programs, including customer research, PR, content, and sales cycles
- Identify and develop a library of assets showcasing our customer success stories, ranging from case studies, testimonials, webinars, events, podcasts, reviews, and more
- Support customer retention, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives and campaigns
- Measure the impact of customer marketing activities on customer growth, retention, and financial outcomes, and communicate these impacts within the organization
- Be the champion for all things customers within the marketing team.
What We Value
- 5+ years of experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or advocacy-related roles in B2B, SaaS
- Relevant marketing experience with an understanding of how to build marketing strategies and programs around several different customer audiences with unique goals and personas
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and align with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to connect and build relationships with customers
- Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decisions
- Highly organized and self-directed
