Overview

Airship is looking for a dynamic Director, Global Partnerships to manage our partner ecosystem with strategic focus on agency partners to help Airship on its trajectory towards becoming the market leader in mobile messaging and customer engagement.
The Director, Global Partnerships will lead a team of partner managers with primary focus on our ISV and agency partners. The role will have significant visibility at the executive level, and is ultimately responsible for working directly with our global partners to create and implement on-going joint product development, marketing and sales programs.  In addition, this role will ultimately own the revenue quota from the strategic partners team. The successful candidate for this position will be a highly-motivated, strategy-oriented alliance leader that is excited to grow and cultivate our partner eco-system to their full revenue potential.

Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the overall partner relationship, including: strategic planning, oversight of product integration, revenue growth targets and all operations necessary to profitably retain, grow and service their customers.
    • Collaborate with partners and partner marketing team to develop and execute against a go-to market strategy
    • Support customer acquisition, conversion and retention targets for each partner account.
    • Help to deliver partner communications, develop joint collateral, and strategically manage joint events, with partner marketing manager
    • Become an expert on our product, our competition and the markets in which we compete
    • Forecast pipeline and revenue from partners on a monthly basis
    • Identify new business and revenue opportunities

Experience

    • Minimum 3+ years experience in managing a team
    • 5 years partner management, sales, or marketing related role in the technology sector
    • Experience in mobile and messaging infrastructure a plus
    • Experience working with enterprise technology providers
    • Ability to establish and manage trusted relationships with senior business leaders
    • Strong project management background and expertise
    • Must have a solid understanding of marketing programs, events, and promotions, as well as experience in developing partner marketing plans to help support the Partner Marketing Manager.
    • Customer focused and a partner advocate Hands-on, self-directed leader who plans, prepares and executes professionally
    • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
