About the Role
Vidyard is looking for an Account Executive, Emerging within England to join our EMEA Sales team. Reporting to the EMEA Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing Vidyard as a trusted business partner and acquiring new customers.
The Emerging AE role is a hunter role and is a great opportunity to establish your skills and sales habits as you grow in your sales career. This role is a combination of both inbound and outbound sourced opportunities – you will be responsible for prospecting, running efficient discoveries, demos, pricing, and negotiations on all sales opportunities with executive-level personas. Emerging opportunities are highly transactional, typically closed within 2-3 weeks, over 1-2 calls. Vidyard provides engaged account lists, cadences, and talk tracks to guide you in your prospecting. Inbound opportunity volume is dependent on the market. You will be expected to achieve weekly/monthly targets, including: contacts worked, meetings booked, and pipeline generated to help you attain your quarterly/monthly revenue goals.

About the Team
The EMEA Emerging Sales team focuses on small businesses headquartered within Europe and is part of our overarching EMEA business segment.
Although reps are responsible for individual quotas, the EMEA Team truly embodies Team Selling, as each member offers continuous support and help in their own way. Being part of the EMEA Sales Team means you truly manifest Vidyard’s core values. We are relentlessly resourceful, we own it, we personify direct and transparent communications, and have an all-aboard attitude.
The team is currently led by EMEA Sales Manager, Yaniv Siegel, who established himself as a successful sales rep in the EMEA region, prior to managing the team. Yaniv is passionate about helping each rep to set them up for success in the best way possible. There will be lots of call-coaching, training, deal strategizing and enablement to get AE’s to overachieve on their goals. The team also prides itself in being very helpful to each other and having fun while they are at it. The EMEA Sales Team is an exciting team to be part of as it is growing fast with lots of untapped potential and increasing demand in the various EMEA countries.
What You’ll Work On
- Manage fast and high volume sales cycles
- Manage relationships with new and existing customers
- Present the value of our solutions to the customers’ individual needs
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement
- Perform online demos of our product
- Focus on establishing Vidyard as a trusted business partner for new business accounts
As an Emerging Account Executive You Can Expect to:
- Be up and running within 90 days with a 3 month ramp period, with a target of closing your first deal within 30 days
- Learn how to pitch the value of features, handle objection, negotiate and close deals
- Prospect to source your own opportunities while working closely with the Sales Development Representatives on inbound opportunities
- Be a part of “high performance mindset” team – join daily huddles, enablement, and team collaborations
- Communicate effectively daily with manager as this is a remote role
- Practice regular mock calls and weekly call coaching
What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team:
- Sales experience, or 2+ years of outbound business development experience within SaaS
- Full cycle sales experience ideal but not necessary
- Understand SaaS concepts such as ARR, AOV, MRR, Churn, etc.
- Track-record of overachieving quota/targets
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience with outbound prospecting, as we do high volume outreach to targeted accounts
- CRM experience, Salesforce preferably
