Hi, I’m Lacey, Head of Employer Branding and Internal Communications at Customer.io 👋

We’re looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about social media and crafting employee stories. This role will highlight what it’s like to work for Customer.io and showcase our company culture through social media. This is a new role for the company, so we want someone excited to build a social strategy and try new things!

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about celebrating our company achievements, spotlighting the voices of our employees, building social media brand ambassadors, and must be a creative genius.

Some things you’ll do

  • Create a fun, creative, and engaging strategy for the employer brand social media channels (Instagram + LinkedIn). And identify new channels we should be on (hello, TikTok?).
  • Develop and oversee an Employee Advocacy Program with our current and former team members.
  • Establish a social media content calendar and cadence of posts to increase our followers and reach.
  • Assist with the employer brand content strategy to ensure fresh and captivating content for social media channels.
  • Optimize our social media strategy by analyzing data, metrics, insights, and applying best practices.
  • Partner with the Operations leadership team and hiring managers to reach our targeted audiences.

What we’re looking for

  • A passion for experimenting and trying new things! You understand social media best practices and trends and bring new ideas to help push us forward.
  • Experience developing a social media strategy and an Employee Advocacy Program.
  • A creative eye! Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus to utilize brand templates.
  • Excitement and drive to be part of a new team that will significantly impact the organization.

About Customer.io

Our mission at Customer.io is to power automated communication that people like to receive. Today over 3,500 internet businesses use Customer.io to manage, send, and track performance of email, SMS, and push notifications. Unlike typical marketing platforms, Customer.io helps businesses increase relevance by using behavioral data: what people do or don’t do when logged in to a web or mobile app.

We are offering a starting salary of $80,000 – $85,000 USD depending on experience and subject to local market rate adjustment.

  • 1 month paid sabbatical after four years at Customer.io – to treat yourself to a vacation, or spend however you choose
  • Company retreats twice a year – we are planning for our Spring 2022 retreat to be in Athens, Greece!
  • Flexible schedule, work anywhere you want! – as long as you have a reliable internet connection and some overlapping work time with your manager, you can work where and when you want
