Overview

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Strategist to join the Customer Marketing Team. This data-driven digital strategist will primarily be focused on developing an omnichannel communications strategy and setting clear, tactical direction across multiple channel execution teams. This positive, collaborative, forward-thinking team member will own the marketing strategy across owned & earned channels (primarily centered on email) considering our client’s entire customer lifecycle, supporting the documentation of use cases, proposing improvements across the digital customer journey & creating deliverables that drive client business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

    • Identify and articulate data-driven strategic recommendations and innovate with client and Bounteous team members on tactical approaches to improving customer experience, conversion & retention rates
    • Support development of digital capabilities by working closely with execution teams to identify & implement strategies to elevate marketing tactics and build automation & scale for overarching marketing operations
    • Own the review and analysis of campaign & client business reports, identify key insights and translate those to tactical plan recommendations
    • Research products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
    • Ownership of strategic deliverables across client accounts, deliverables could include but not limited to: email channel strategy & testing plan design, review & promote campaign cohesiveness across digital channels (email, paid media, web experience, and others) and lead channel experts on overarching strategic recommendations, populate and evolve strategic framework as information and program insights adjust throughout a client engagement and deliver data-driven strategic recommendations with confidence, able to research & write white papers and one sheet documents, review campaign analytics, consolidate and present findings to clients, support development of project and creative briefs; provide execution teams with enough strategic insight and detail to successfully execute on the recommended strategies.
    • Elevate client’s marketing strategy by ideating and presenting proactive recommendations to account & delivery teams, defining quality standards and recommending process changes
    • Create creative briefing documents and be able to communicate and hand-off strategic plans to execution teams (creative and development) in collaboration with the project manager and account manager

Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong business acumen to support the understanding of client challenges and measures of success, and ability to express recommendations to steer client perspectives. Must be willing to challenge upwards for best interest of the program, where appropriate and with supporting strategic rationale or justification.
    • Has the ability to pivot strategies with changing client needs.
    • Must be proactive and have the ability to work independently and initiate internal and direct client communication based on project needs.
    • Has experience quickly learning the capabilities of new technologies and identifying realistic use cases.
    • Ability to drive consensus and alignment for decision-making across multiple stakeholders.
    • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to collaborate with client and Bounteous marketing, media strategy, experience design and analytics teams to create comprehensive plans and approaches to achieving specific business goals
    • Preference given to candidates with experience in the travel & hospitality space.
    • Must have excellent remote presentation skills and experience presenting to leadership.
    • Experience with and working knowledge of enterprise MarTech, including Adobe Campaign.
    • Preference given to candidates who have experience utilizing AirTable and WorkFront tools.
    • Experience with 1st party data and owned customer acquisition channels: digital marketing strategy, testing and deployment, including email, text and push notification campaigns
    • Experience with website personalization and paid customer acquisition channels: experience & knowledge of enterprise personalization, CRO strategy and website personalization, experience & knowledge of organic/paid social/search campaigns.
