Job Description
Owl’s Head Solutions, a virtual full-service branding, design, and development agency, is seeking a freelance Technical Project Manager.

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing the coordination and completion of medium to large graphic design and software development projects on time, within budget, and within scope. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
-Develop a detailed project plan and schedule to monitor and track progress, milestones, and deadlines
-Ensure resource availability and assign project responsibilities to the appropriate resources
-Manage multiple concurrent projects
-Monitor and summarize progress of projects, prepare reports for upper management regarding status of the project
-Escalate issues and concerns to management as needed
-Maintain and track project schedules within the project management application
-Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document requirements
-Identify and alert management of budget or scope overruns
-Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
-Facilitate communication between cross-functional internal teams cooperating on projects
-Create and maintain project management and process documentation for each project
-Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
-Provide high-level quality assurance at each project milestone/phase
-Identify project problems early on and coordinate efforts to bring the project back on track
-Execute basic, high level, quality assurance testing to identify user interface, functionality, spelling and grammar, and / or layout issues early on

Contribute to the overall growth of OHS.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Developing new and better ways to solve issues and problems, including issues with workflow
-Developing new and better ways to improve communications among all OHS employees and contractors
-Always remain on the lookout for new and better tools to improve the productivity of yourself and other OHS employees
-Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
-Bringing learning and growth opportunities to the attention of OHS management and other employees


-Proven working experience in project management
-Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Project Manager top skills & proficiencies:

-Developing and Tracking Budgets
-Project Management
-Process Improvement

Nice to haves:

-Experience with Wrike
-Experience with Google “G Suite”
-Experience with Harvest
-Familiarity with Git (GitLab)
-Familiarity with Adobe design tools
-Familiarity with Invision
