About

PhotoRoom is a mobile-first photo editor that revolutionizes photo composition and retouching.  Instead of manipulating pixels, users edit objects.  Deep learning models ensure the translation of pixels into objects. PhotoRoom empowers mobile-first entrepreneurs to create amazing images thus enabling them to create independent and sustainable small businesses. PhotoRoom is recognized globally by experts at TechCrunch and Apple several times for its innovative approach to image editing.

The team is well funded, profitable, and advised by experts in image analysis like Yann Lecun (VP AI at Facebook), Zehan Wang (head of Twitter cortex), and other experts at Apple, Adobe, Snap, Y Combinator, Facebook, and GoPro.

Impact: you can prioritize your time to build what will give users superpowers or wow them.
Learning: learning and sharing knowledge makes you happy. At PhotoRoom, this holds true as a team, with machine learning, and with our users.

Call to all women candidates!

Come join us!  It’s part of our ethos to deliberately bring more inclusion and diversity. It’s not unusual for a start-up like ours to have a homogeneous team as we often hire people we know and trust in the beginning. And the quality of our current team is quite amazing!  Our goal now is to add great people we don’t know yet to keep this high talent density.  We see a clear and obvious gap between the team representativity and our predominately female audience and we want to be sure to actively welcome all candidates irrespective of background, gender, or race.
