Bounteous x Accolite is looking for an experienced Principal Architect to join our Data & Analytics practice. The Principal Architect serves as a trusted client and Adobe partner and designs programs to drive results for clients in selecting, implementing, and adopting customer data platforms. This role involves applying deep technical expertise in CDP (especially Adobe RT-CDP) as well as data and marketing technology more broadly to strategizing a scalable architecture and approach to drive successful platform implementations and launches, and translate that into a successful framework for delivery teams.


The Principal Architect partners with client service and business development teams to expand account opportunities and solution approaches for CDPs to help customers drive value, and works closely with CDP delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery. This role supports partnership with Adobe and other platform partners to drive product adoption in the marketplace, company certifications, and product roadmaps.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a platform expert in Adobe Experience Platform Real-Time CDP and other products (CJA, Target, AJO)
  • Maintain subject matter expertise as platforms evolve, including leading development of playbooks and documentation for scaling solutions;
  • Build out accelerators and features aimed to create more efficiencies leading to strong customer value realization and/or optimizations;
  • Collaborate with platform partners on product roadmap advisory, feature exploration and development, and integration solutions and approaches
  • Partner with client service and business development teams to support pitches for new business or additional follow-on work for clients
  • Strategize, architect, and create approaches for scalable CDP implementation, tailored to client business needs;
  • Lead client presentations around relevant subject matter expertise;
  • Build scoping and estimates for RTCDP and CJA;
  • Lead workshops and/or customer facing hands on labs
  • Provide deep domain expertise in client business, technology stack, and data infrastructure, applying a broad knowledge base in digital marketing

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience architecting and building data pipelines
  • 3+ years of experience working in an agency environment; strong consulting, client-facing skills
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform RTCDP and CJA, including creating schemas, ingesting data from a variety of sources, configuring identity resolution, and connecting destinations for activation
  • Experience with Adobe Tags (formerly called “Launch”) and AEP WebSDK implementation
  • Strong understanding of customer data platforms and the modern data infrastructure
  • Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.
  • Experience working with data warehouse solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.
  • Experience with Adobe Target a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc. a plus
  • Experience with marketing automation tools a plus
  • Strong communicator with all levels of leadership, management, and staff to achieve desired outcomes and build strong alliances and relationships
  • Outstanding executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills; the ability to inspire, engage, partner with, and influence senior leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a great storyteller who can utilize structured arcs of communication with data, value propositions, and visualizations
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience preferred
