Overview

On the Release Engineering team at Mezmo, we keep the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery conveyor belts moving. Collaboration is our jam. We are here to ensure that the release process is as simple and pain free as possible. We are the watch-keepers of software configuration processes, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and version control tools. You will get to build things from scratch and automate copiously.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain automation workflows for application builds and deployments
  • Evangelize best practices for automation workflows through both documentation and direct communication with users
  • Participate in architectural decision-making for essential automation systems

Requirements:

  • Experience designing and building application release pipelines
  • Experience automating deployments to multiple Kubernetes environments
  • Experience writing test automation
  • Experience with Application development
  • Experience implementing advanced deployment strategies (A/B, Blue/Green, etc)
  • Jenkins administration
  • Expertise with at least 1 orchestration platform other than Jenkins (Ansible, Chef Automation, or similar)
  • Strong scripting skills in at least 1 scripting language (Python, Ruby, or similar)
  • Comfortable/experienced with a remote position
