The position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior Financial Systems Administrator, joining our Business Technology and Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and enforce best practices, procedures, and security protocols in compliance with SOX controls
  • Document current processes and controls, new system requirements and the creation of applicable testing scenarios for enhancements and system updates
  • Gather internal team requirements and work with S/4Hana to implement requirements
  • Maintain and administer SAP S/4Hana and other Financial & Analysis tools
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems systems and payment providers setup
  • Maintain key processes used to support the consolidation and financial reporting for the business
  • Interpret and analyse business requirements submitted on change requests for processing and ensure proper requirements have been detailed for the change and that business review and approval is captured
  • Maintain financial information within several systems
  • Support user training to ensure all functional users understand the application capabilities and how they are expected to perform their roles
  • Troubleshoot end user issues and training for end users

Requirements:

  • Expert level knowledge of SAP S/4Hana
  • Expert level knowledge of accounting and financial terminology, operations, best practices, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Stripe, Treasury Management Systems, shared service centers, credit card administration, SharePoint, TransferWise (and similar)
  • Hands on, proactive, blame-free style of working
  • Able to draw out full requirements from your end users in order to create and maintain the applications to meet their needs
  • Writes and speaks fluent English
  • It’s not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
