Job Description

This position will be one of the primary points of contact for all security, security related configuration and analytical requests from customers regarding select managed SaaS and on-prem applications. The Senior Security and Configuration Analyst will act as a primary resource on projects, system implementations and process improvement initiatives and will function as one of the point persons between the customer and Security and Configuration team, ensuring the quality and timeliness of project deliverables.  This position will also manage day to day security operations related to production support.

This is a remote friendly position.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partners with HR/Finance/Technology on system related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, and process redesign.

  • End-to-end security support of Workday HCM and Finance, Adaptive, and Prism.

  • Manages system configuration migrations and security, as well as system process flow.

  • Manages supported systems authentication, security compliance and change management controls.

  • Partners with Internal, External and Compliance auditors to perform audits and information gathering to ensure compliance and segregation of duties are being followed.  

  • Responsible for complex analysis, design, development and implementation of the SaaS system policies and related processes.

  • Collaborates with and advises enterprise users, technical staff, HCM subject matter experts, Finance subject matter experts on system design decisions, user experience, complex issue resolution and process design.

  • Able to conduct and/or facilitate complex system testing, identifies discrepancies and formulates remediation plan.

  • Serve as a point of contact to SMEs for their Security needs and ensure best practices are effectively communicated and implemented.

  • Subject matter expert on Security and Configuration design and maintenance.

  • Plan and manage the transition of additional responsibilities to centralize functions in the IT department.

  • Plan strategies for improving department processes and implementing efficiencies.

  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service and support to all business units and other internal and external contacts and respond in a timely manner to customer service feedback.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of related experience in a similar position with a progressive organization

  • Required experience with Workday and Workday Security.  Workday Finance knowledge is a plus.

  • Preferred Undergraduate degree in business analysis, computer science, information technology, human resources or a related field

  • Preferred experience with other SaaS solutions such as Oracle Cloud

  • Ability to effectively research, assess and resolve complex security and configuration issues; and the ability to develop and implement appropriate procedures

  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities, circumstances and personal interaction styles

  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory including Sarbox, GDPR and PCI

  • Strong attention to details essential

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, necessary to articulate ideas and prepare analyses

  • Possesses advanced problem solving, decision making and analytical skills

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to build and maintain relationships and interact well across all levels
