We provide software platform businesses (SaaS B2B product offering) in the mortgage industry, working to perfect mortgage closings for signing services, title companies, and financial institutions. We are in search of a Senior Security Risk & Compliance Analyst that shares these priorities to join our team. This role can work from anywhere within the United States. Snapdocs takes security seriously. One of the most important things we do for our clients is to support them in their efforts to be compliant and safely transfer consumer information. It is our job to stay current on the latest in consumer protection regulation and security technology and update our security measures accordingly. We shoulder some of the stress associated with security and compliance for the mortgage services providers using our platform. You will be part of an important team that develops and manages compliance with audit requirements and other frameworks, as well as the identification of risk that doesn’t inhibit speed and innovation for product development. This position will report to the Risk and Compliance Manager.
As a subject matter specialist, you will help us be compliant by developing scalable risk and compliance programs and processes to minimize the risk of data exposure and misuse that aligns with the business objectives and regulatory compliance of our B2B customers (e.g. NIST, ISO, GLBA, CCPA, GDPR). You will evaluate and maintain security compliance within our product and infrastructure through product reviews, gap assessments of our infrastructure, control implementation, recurring reviews, or internal/ third party audits (e.g SOC2, partner reviews, vendor risk management). You have had experience in applying risk management through applying risk management concepts to out-of-the-box situations and complex technologies and drive acceptable business resolutions as a co-owner and partner. You understand how security is a product differentiator and be excited to communicate to internal/ external customers. You will respond to questionnaires, emails, conduct research, lead calls, and connect with internal/external partners using explicit technical details and professionalism. You will secure the organization by providing operational support that includes the response to data exposure incidents. You will continue to empower others by sharing information, building relationships, and collaborating across all aspects of security, sales, legal, and engineering while adhering to Snapdocs’ principles.
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in scalable Information Security Risk & Compliance processes and solution with a proven track record of working in a remote and distributed environment. This person will have 3+ years of experience in areas of building compliance, audit, and risk processes in a SaaS, preferably in a Startup environment. We are looking for candidates with program management experience, polished professionalism developed through consulting or engaging directly with customers, auditors, and third-parties. Self-directed and motivated individual to foster creative problem solving as well as out of the box thinking. We appreciate this individual’s approach to problem solving with a strategic iterative and being able to organize tasks and project milestones to successfully drive towards accomplishing a set goal. Prior experience in data privacy and mortgage regulatory compliance and industry best practices (e.g. RON, MISMO, etc) is a huge plus.
