Manage the planning, launch, marketing, and lifecycle of software solutions offered by the Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD).


  • Lead the development and implementation of short and long-term Software portfolio strategies. Identify and prioritize new Software products, upgrades, and updates, and outline the strategic vision for a complete portfolio.
  • Research, analyze and compile detailed requirements and specifications for new products and major enhancements. Develop and propose business cases for investments and lead technical and business negotiations with relevant CPSD departments and technology partners.
  • Lead and support Software sales by conducting product demonstrations, capturing implementation requirements, and preparing solution proposals.
  • Manage software products and solutions throughout the lifecycle including identifying, advocating, and prioritizing existing product gaps and value-adding enhancements, revising related marketing efforts, resolving customer satisfaction issues, and addressing obsolescence.
  • Gather, utilize, and distribute market intelligence, competitive analytics, sales feedback, and voice of the customer surveys and interviews. Perform market research to benchmark competitors’ software offerings, capabilities, and pricing.
  • Develop pricing for Software offerings that align with market value, division strategies, and business objectives. Develop and maintain relevant portions of price book including Software solution configuration structure, part numbers, and descriptions.
  • Lead project teams to plan, develop, release, and launch and promote new Software products, updates, upgrades, and add-ons.
  • Launch and promote Software solutions by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to conduct internal training, develop marketing content and sales tools, implement marketing campaigns, and execute sales strategies.
  • Create solution and customer case study content for distribution via traditional, digital, and social media marketing channels.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on business system data on a recurring basis to measure commercial and technical performance of the Software solution portfolio.  Manage the portfolio in accordance with findings.
  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Division by conducting business with outside contacts, internal departments, and other MEPPI divisions in a timely and cooperative manner.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and marketing of software solutions integrated with industrial equipment, equivalent education and experience.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication skills, and presentation skills required to communicate with employees and customers.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams and influence organizational change.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
  • Developed computer skills with emphasis on MS Office products, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and Service management software.
