We need an engineer who loves working with customers. At our stage, pre-sales, post-sales, customer success and support are all the same, so we’re looking for an engineer who wants to roll up their sleeves to help customers see and realize the value of Cribl. We are looking for a technical person with great communication skills, who loves working hands-on with customers. We are looking for people who love to get stuff done, and laugh a bit along the way. Cribl is a serious company that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

In this position you will:

  • Help customers understand the value of Cribl during the sales process

  • Demo the product and answer customer questions during initial sales calls

  • Support customers during proof of concept sessions

  • Answer inbound customer support questions

  • Help customers roll out Cribl post sale into production

  • Document interesting use cases in blog posts and product documentation


  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role, preferably in a pre-sales engineering or consulting capacity

  • Deep knowledge of the IT and/or security shops with the U.S. DOD and/or intelligence community

  • Experience with Logs, Metrics, IT Operations and Security

  • Play with the product, be prepared to give us feedback
