We are seeking a Sr. Director of Sales to lead a team of 5-8 Enterprise Account Executives. You’ll drive with data and utilize a consultative leadership approach to generate new business at Hyperproof.


You are a proven sales leader with a track record for managing strategic, outbound Enterprise sales teams. You have a passion for winning new business and making an impact as an early member of a high-growth startup. You inspire others around you, work well across departments, and collaborate with team members of varied experiences. You must be driven on meeting (and exceeding) revenue, operational and strategic goals as well as foster the professional growth, development, and success of your team members. You will spend the majority of your time coaching, counseling, and mentoring your team in all aspects of sales and effectiveness. You will also provide timely and practical feedback to senior leadership for new and interesting go-to-market strategies.

In addition, you thrive in enigmatic situations and can construct a logical path forward without material oversight. You’re a constant learner, you’re curious and creative, and you enjoy problem-solving, whether that is tactics to increase deal velocity or strategies for clients to help them achieve their business goals. You’ll be directly responsible for the success of a team of 5 or more Account Executives and drive annual pipeline for new and existing customers.


  • You’ll meet with leaders throughout the Product, Marketing, Solution Architecture & Customer Success organization to share responsibility for obtaining similar targets and identify areas of opportunity.
  • You’ll establish a strong understanding of sales enablement, create/analyze team reports, and identify coaching opportunities.
  • You’ll coach and mentor your team with call listening through Chorus, call shadowing and role plays to help them improve, both professionally and personally.
  • You’ll assist in negotiations and deal strategy.
  • You’ll create an early concept of a future plan for your team and begin prioritization for future quarters.
  • You’ll consistently meet and exceed monthly pipeline and revenue targets.
  • You’ll obtain (solicited and unsolicited) and act upon peer, customer, and leadership feedback.
  • You’ll be recognized as a subject matter expert and leader at Hyperproof.
  • You’ll establish and begin executing against the long-term plan for your team.
  • You’ll promote members on your team and create a bench of new talent.
  • You’ll meet with the People team to consistently recruit and attract top strategic Account Executives to further build your team and get ahead of talent needs.
  • You’ll synthesize findings into clear, concise value propositions for executives to easily understand the ROI and time-to-value of implementing our solutions.
  • You’ll demonstrate verbally, in writing, and through live product demos, how customers can capture the value and envision their future with Hyperproof’s technologies.
  • You’ll exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals, and provide accurate forecasts for each respective period by clearly quantifying opportunity size and likelihood in Salesforce.
  • You’ll build and manage joint action plans so you, your clients, and Hyperproof’s leadership team are well aligned on the mutual outcomes, expected deliverables, and timelines.


  • You’ll partner with our executive leadership team to define key success metrics for your role and how you will measure against them.
  • You’ll meet your team in 1:1s to understand each person as an individual, what’s working, and what’s not, and gather learnings to implement in your role.
  • You’ll dive right into our platform to learn about what makes our platform unique and why customers love our solutions.
  • You’ll learn Hyperproof’s go-to-market messaging, and key differentiators, and develop and personalize segment-specific value propositions.
  • You’ll learn relevant customer stories and case studies to justify your value propositions with real ROI examples from the field.


  • Consistent and measurable track record of success that you can easily speak to and highlight – both as an individual salesperson and as a leader within a sales organization
  • Deep understanding of complex Enterprise B2B SaaS sales solutions
  • Demonstrated passion for hiring, developing, and coaching top sales talent
  • Confident in managing complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders and negotiations with pricing based on business value, legal and procurement

Additionally, these are the preferred qualifications that would indicate a particularly strong candidate:

  • Experience working within a vertical strategy (selling to specific industries)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
  • 5 or more years within a Sales Leadership position within SaaS with 5 or more direct reports remotely

  • Base Salary $137,000 – 177,000K + Commission + Equity
