Systems Analyst, Workforce Planning
As an Analyst within the Workforce Strategy & Planning team, you will act as a trusted partner to our internal Workforce Planning team, ensuring that we meet HubSpot’s talent goals through data-driven workforce planning. You will work closely with the Senior Operations Analyst on the team to drive our best practices across our Anaplan planning module, partner with other data teams in our partner organizations, and help build the foundation for connected headcount planning. This role will have a direct impact on how HubSpot continues to grow our workforce to best support our customers.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Be a key member assisting with all phases of the workforce planning technology lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, model building, driving UAT and implementation for HubSpot’s Anaplan based Forecasting tool
- Build complex quantitative models to identify opportunities for optimization, growth and investment, while assisting with the optimization of those models to enhance performance
- Leverage automation tools / programming languages to optimize business processes and solve problems
- Assist with data integration activities to downstream systems and access management
- Coordinate with stakeholders across People Analytics, HRIS, Finance, Flywheel Operations and others to ensure smooth operation of the business and consistent achievement of the operational plan and growth goals
- Work cross-functionally to support actionable, measurable projects and programs that accelerate growth and improve front-line employee effectiveness
- Enhance overall forecast/plan governance to ensure that the workforce planning process is operationalized and executed in a systematic manner, provide stewardship to address cross-functional governance issues
- Assist with delivering Anaplan training and support to ensure the Company’s self-service model is embraced; ensuring key users have the resources and dynamic workspace they need to operate the forecast tools / models and produce the deliverables of accountability
- Serve as an soundboard with the internal Anaplan experts in design discussions, providing your perspective based on your experiences
We are looking for people with:
- Experience using Anaplan to build efficient and effective planning models utilized by end stakeholders
- Expertise in excel and comfortable with advanced formulas, macros and functionality
- Background in finance, consulting / professional services preferred
- Strong analytical skills and a passion about the role of data in helping solve complex questions
- Comfortability with SQL and/or data analytics and statistical tools
- Experience working autonomously in a fast paced environment and interacting with senior stakeholders from a range of business functions
- The ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS business and create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems.
- BA / BS, preferably in an analytical discipline such as engineering, economics, finance
Above and beyond qualifications:
- Can use Business Information (BI) Applications (Looker) to create data models, reports and dashboards
Cash compensation range:Â 98400-147600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
