Tackle is a fast-growing, work from anywhere, SaaS company, deeply invested in helping software companies sell faster and with less friction by leveraging the Cloud Marketplaces (like AWS, Azure, and GCP). Tackle is hard at work building our Sales Organization as THE destination for software sales professionals at any stage of their selling careers.  As a result of our rapid growth, we’re looking for a leader to continue growing our Americas Sales team and drive our growth strategy. The VP of Sales who leads our team will be an exceptional mentor, experienced seller, accomplished team builder, and exceptional at operational attention to detail.

This second-line leadership position reports directly to Tackle’s CRO and will focus on both mentoring and coaching Tackle’s existing Sales Leadership team while collaborating with the leadership team to guide our explosive growth and ensure we focus on driving value for our customers. What You’ll Be Up To

    • Lead a high-performance sales organization
    • High EQ, high IQ, team-first leader
    • Partner with marketing to drive effective sales campaigns, strategies, and optimal organizational structure
    • Further Tackle‚Äôs efforts to effectively segment our account and market focus
    • Drive revenue growth through a combination of outbound prospecting, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and AE-sourced pipeline, extreme focus on new logo acquisition, skilled at both velocity-based and strategic sales cycles, strategic account planning, cross-selling new products/use cases to existing customers
    • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent providing career development and performance management
    • Build a strong cross-functional operating cadence with teams around pipeline, forecasting, deal review, execution, deployment, and revenue realization
    • Partner with cross-functional teams (Renewals, Customer Journey, SDR, and Marketing) on strategy and execution to drive customer acquisition, satisfaction/advocacy, reduce/eliminate customer churn, and ensure Tackle is continuously driving value for our brand and our customers

What You’ve Done/Where You’ve Been:

    • 10+ years of experience in B2B Enterprise Sales, with a track record of over attainment
    • 5+ years of building and leading high-performance SaaS B2B sales teams
    • 2nd line leadership experience
    • Experience growing a scaling revenue from 30M-100M+ in a SaaS org
    • Collaborative leadership with a demonstration of firm ownership of all revenue goals and outcomes
    • Experience building systems to drive effective forecasting, pipeline management, growth strategies, and team improvement
    • BS/BA degree strongly preferred
