Overview

Plan, organize, and manage proposals, documentation submittals, customer orders, and communications for assigned accounts within the Division. Oversee projects from quotation through execution, serving as a liaison across MEPPI Divisions, customers, vendors, and contractors.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and projects, collaborating to identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
  • Direct and supervise on-site construction and subcontractors for installation and service activities.
  • Manage sales and maintenance service projects to ensure on-time completion within established budgets.
  • Oversee and coordinate documentation submittals, including as-built documents, testing results, and operation manuals.
  • Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and site general contractors to coordinate project requirements.
  • Ensure project scope compliance, including subcontractor work, to meet all applicable contract requirements.
  • Prepare and review price quotations for subcontractors and customers to maximize profit while maintaining fairness.
  • Write subcontractor scopes of work for installation and maintenance services.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation of equipment.
  • Assist project managers with testing, implementation, deviations, and service startup/commissioning activities.
  • Manage project scheduling, closeout, and warranty/service obligations.
  • Oversee safety and insurance compliance on assigned projects.
  • Prepare and review project activity reports and hold meetings with subcontractors/crew supervisors as needed.
  • Review and process payment requests related to projects.
  • Provide project status updates to management, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Promote a professional and positive image of the Division through effective customer and internal department interactions.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of assigned products, including UPS systems, battery systems, IT cooling, transmission and distribution substation equipment, battery energy storage systems, and solar inverters.
  • Proficiency in project management, construction, and commissioning concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with employees, vendors, and customers effectively.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project).
