The Opportunity:

The Accounting Specialist will work with the Accounting Manager on the financial reporting of various accounting activities in a fast-paced tech environment. You will assist in the development, maintenance and evaluation of procedures, systems and internal controls. You will work closely with internal & external partners to bring the day-to-day accounting in-house, which will provide you with plenty of opportunities to initiate and drive standardization. The ideal candidate is curious, self-starter, eager to learn and thrive in a global and fast changing environment, and able to help drive and implement process improvements across the organization.


  • Monitor cash movements of multi-currency bank accounts, and responsible for the weekly bank reconciliations
  • Work with internal partners and outsourced 3rd party providers to resolve unreconciled cash items
  • Assist with month-end close including journal entry, accruals, BS account reconciliations and P&L analysis
  • Make intercompany transactions and manage intercompany account reconciliations
  • Work with external service providers to reconcile tax accounts (VAT, sales tax, CIT, etc), and ensure taxes are filed and settled per statutory deadlines
  • Involve in ERP system testing and implementation
  • Document and update procedures for on-going accounting activities
  • Work with internal and external partners to manage, validate and automate FA accounts (additions, depreciation and disposals)
  • Assist the Accounting Manager with annual statutory audit requests for the Holding company and its subsidiaries
  • Support accounting team with various analysis and ad hoc projects


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Familiar with IFRS and US GAAP
  • 1-3 years working experiences in Finance & Accounting position with multi-subsidiary environment
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Excel, GSuite
  • Expertise in accounting software, Netsuite proficiency preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to research and resolve issues without guidance
  • Curious, proactive, accurate, solutions-orientated, continuous improvement attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and English communication skills – verbal, written and facilitation
  • Interest and ability to work in a fast changing multi-cultural environment
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones
