We are looking for a Benefits and Onboarding Specialist to join our growing team! Reporting to the Senior Total Rewards Partner, your role will play an integral role in the support, design, and delivery of BenchSci’s benefits, long-term savings, and perks programs.

You Will:

    • Act as a subject matter expert for all aspects of benefits, long-term savings, and perks.
    • Responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of BenchSci’s global benefit, long-term savings, and perks programs.
    • Assist in the design, and communication of our program offerings.
    • Drives new and innovative programs, projects, and initiatives.
    • Ensure accuracy of data entry in all of our benefits, long-term savings, and perks-related systems.
    • Audit benefit premium deductions, and investigate and resolve benefit premium discrepancies to carrier and Payroll in a timely manner.
    • Handle employee inquiries and requests and work with all vendors and carriers to resolve any escalated issues.
    • Leave of absence administration.
    • Assist with international relocations and mobility support.
    • Provide administrative and coordination support during the pre-boarding and onboarding stages for employees.

You Have:

    • Bachelor’s or college’s degree required, preferably in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably with a strong focus on Benefits.
    • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation is an asset.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Suite applications.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to develop/update reports and modelling tools.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
