What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Assist with administration for all benefits, including HSA, 401(k), and disability programs. Support data review and audit of plans.
  • Answer employee benefits, 401(k) and leave questions.
  • Administer U.S. & Canada‚Äôs benefits including leave of absence administration.
  • Process COBRA administration and applicable subsidies.
  • Create and update benefits communication and documents on internal HR wiki.
  • Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot administrative or employee issues.
  • Assist with Open Enrollment logistics, implementations, and communications.
  • Facilitate U.S. New Hire Benefits sessions, and as needed sessions for employees outside of the U.S.
  • Complete Workday benefits transactions (i.e. QLE‚Äôs, finalizing OE windows, EOI‚Äôs etc).

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits, 401(k), and leave administration.
  • Solid understanding of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, HSA rules and other benefit and regulatory requirements.
  • Workday Benefits experience a must.
  • Proficient in Mac and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Deeply detailed and process oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with managing vendor relationships.
  • Bachelor‚Äôs degree.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in a startup culture – comfort with ambiguity and non-stop problem solving, building, and action.
  • Experience in benefits administration outside of the U.S.
