Job Description

Oversee assigned account relationships and responsibilities of the Real Estate category in a sales role. Maintain a detailed knowledge of The New York Times products and policies. Communicate account developments. Act as a team player and contribute to team’s success. Implement directives from the Vice President, Media.

Responsibilities

  • Sell cross platform advertising solutions by utilizing consultative sales methods on assigned categories and specific accounts

  • Keep updated competitive trends within assigned industries

  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong account relationships

  • Detailed knowledge of New York Times editions, products and sales strategies

  • Conceptualize, prepare, and deliver sales presentations

  • Communicate detailed and specific account information to Sales management

  • Act as a team player and contribute to the team’s success

Qualifications

  • College degree and/or relevant business experience preferred

  • 3+ years experience in direct advertising sales within the media/publishing industry for Real Estate strongly perferred

  • Experience selling large scale, fully integrated advertising solutions including: print, digital, events/experiential etc.

  • History of aggressive sales growth

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
