Overview

We are looking for a Client Release Manager to join our growing Platform Delivery team! Reporting to the Sr. Release Manager, Platform Delivery, you will help manage BenchSci’s existing data and platform releases while helping define and build new processes for us to scale our Release Management team to support our largest customer accounts. You will be a key connecting point between our technology teams and GTM and will partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Science, Product, Project, Program Management, Customer Success, and Sales and work collaboratively to ensure successful high-quality releases.

BenchSci is a remote-first organization. At this moment, we are welcoming applicants from Canada and the US for this position. 

You Will:

    • Lead the definition of new release processes and procedures for our largest client deployments
    • Help create an overarching release process to help support our ever-growing customer base of pharmaceutical clients
    • Coordinate the process for complex data deployments, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders from the Platform and GTM teams
    • Provide account-based client-facing teams with ongoing visibility into the impact of upcoming releases on their accounts
    • Have a deep understanding of our frontend and backend platform deployment process
    • Facilitate release Go/No Go decisions with all key stakeholders
    • Help define the capacity model for customer account support going forward
    • Manage complex client delivery release projects across internal cross-functional teams and ensure that delivery expectations are exceeded
    • Execute opportunities for continuous improvement in the release process

You Have:

    • 2+ years of experience in a project management role within a technical Agile environment
    • Experience working directly in or with others in customer-facing roles (Sales, Support, Program Management)
    • The ability to work through complex situations and navigate a complex and evolving organization that is in hypergrowth to achieve objectives
    • Work with and manage expectations across multiple teams and levels within the company
    • Experience solving extremely complex and often ambiguous problems in a fast-paced or startup environment
    • Working knowledge of the project lifecycle in software development

Nice to Have:

    • Previous experience in Release Management
    • An educational background in a life sciences-related discipline
    • Experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industry
