Tackle is a fast-growing B2B Saas company, dedicated to helping our customers establish and grow their revenue streams through the hyperscale Cloud Marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM/RedHat).  Tackle’s platform makes it possible for our customers to leverage the Marketplaces, without needing significant Engineering resources and we make it easier for those customers to manage, maintain and scale their Marketplace businesses as they grow.  As part of that journey, Tackle becomes a trusted advisor to many different stakeholders within our customers’ organizations:  Sales, Alliances, Finance, Operations, Product, and Engineering.  We are backed by two of the world’s greatest SaaS investors – Bessemer Ventures and a16z and our vision is to change the way that software is sold.

We are looking for a Customer Advocacy Program Manager to join our marketing team. In this role, you will build and drive a best-in-class customer advocacy program from the ground up. You will understand our customers’ achievements and share their stories to inspire prospects and customers to leverage all that Tackle has to offer. This position is an opportunity to build a foundational, next-generation program to drive advocacy, loyalty, and retention with Tackle’s customers.

This role will be focused on cultivating customer advocates for marketing opportunities including video testimonials, case studies and customer reviews. This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring regular communication with Tackle’s marketing, sales leadership, sales reps and customer journey teams. You must be team-oriented, have a ‘can do’ attitude, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Director of Customer & Partner Marketing.

You Will:

    • Launch Tackle’s Customer Advocacy Program. This will include customer references, customer reviews, and customer stories
    • Understand our buyers and users to develop customer story assets that prospects and customers can relate to and will inspire them to engage with Tackle and their Cloud Marketplace business
    • Develop a programmatic approach to customer reviews in Cloud Marketplaces as well as on review sites such as G2
    • Create repeatable, streamlined processes to identify, recruit, track, and enable Raving Fans to share their stories via case studies, reviews, reference calls, referrals, and other content
    • Create a Reference Program and partner with the customer journey and sales teams to drive program adoption
    • Partner with internal teams to build and maintain a robust, user-friendly internal customer story library
    • Develop and maintain relationships with a broad range of Tackle customers
    • Contribute to overall marketing team strategy for promoting customer stories through our campaigns, digital properties, events, and investor materials

You Have:

    • 3-5 years of experience in customer advocacy at B2B software companies
    • Customer-facing experience with Director and VP level executives at B2B SaaS companies
    • Strong writing skills. You can take a customer story from strategy to interview to writing (design skills not needed)
    • Outstanding project management and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize amidst many moving pieces and complete tasks with high quality and on-deadline
    • A desire to work in an evolving, fast-paced environment
    • A passion for telling our customers’ stories
    • Deep curiosity, excellent listening skills, strong empathy, and interpersonal skills to develop authentic relationships
    • Ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter
