About the role

FireHydrant is excited to be hiring a People Team Coordinator to support our growing People team operations and programs for a healthy, inclusive employee experience. We are small and agile, working to build a suite of programs and resources designed to help our people thrive at work. This position will work closely with the VP of People, across all aspects of employment from onboarding and offboarding to benefits and reporting. An ideal candidate will have quick problem-solving instincts, is detail-oriented, and enjoys being the first point-of-contact to employees throughout their journey.

The work you’ll do

  • Own the administrative execution of critical employee lifecycle programs, including reporting, communication, and coordination for discrete employment deliverables
  • Lead and drive onboarding, benefits enrollment, offboarding, and other people processes and policies
  • Coordinate company-wide employee programs based on People team’s objectives and goals
  • Actively operate with empathy, openness, and discretion as a team player in every way

What we’re looking for

  • Someone who finds joy in supporting others’ success
  • At least two years of work experience in a professional environment
  • Experience in an administrative, HR or operations support role preferred
  • Acts as self-starter with a demonstrated high tolerance for ambiguity, resourcefulness and collaboration
  • Excellent communication organizational and time management skills
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality, good judgement and discretion at all times

FireHydrant believes that everyone should be compensated fairly and we strive for transparency within our organization and the industry. We set our salaries at the 75th percentile of pay for the San Francisco market using compensation data from hundreds of companies at our stage. Additionally, everyone in a given role is paid the same without adjusting for locality. The salary for this position is $85,000 or $105,000 depending on leveling.
