Humu is looking for a proactive, data driven and detail oriented Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted business partner to our new CEO, our COO and Chief Sales Officer. Your excellent problem-solving skills, ability to navigate a fast-paced growth environment and talent of being able to communicate effectively with team members and partners will help to support Humu’s efficiency and productivity. You will bring organization to Humu as we grow and scale as a remote first company operating in the USA and EMEA.

The details

Responsibilities:

  • As an Executive Assistant, you’ll handle a wide range of administrative support tasks, while juggling diverse responsibilities. You are able to understand business priorities of your leaders in order to best leverage their time and can confidently handle last minute changes and prioritize tasks, pivoting as needed.
  • Manage and coordinate complex calendars, prepare executives for meetings, interviews and team events, books travel arrangements and assist in expense reimbursements.
  • Support your leaders in maintaining relationships with key people to ensure continuity in communications and to surface and pursue opportunities for collaboration. Ensure leaders’ time is spent on highest priority issues, shifting non-pressing engagements and to-dos to accommodate.
  • Handle inquiries quickly, proactively and follow through on tasks to successful completion.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of direct executive/leadership support, administrative operations management, non-technical project management or corporate event planning experience.
  • Self-starter, with strong problem-solving and project management skills. You work well under pressure and can determine priorities and make trade offs when needs change.
  • You are detail oriented, have exceptional organizational skills and enjoy diving into operational processes to build efficient systems and taking on additional project work to support team needs.
  • Great listening, communication and collaboration skills. You stay calm under pressure, are adept at handling sensitive, confidential information and thrive in an ambiguous rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent computer literacy, and experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) or ability to learn quickly.
  • Comfortable working and building strong relationships in a remote environment and adapting through change and ambiguity.

This role is open to Seattle based candidates

  • This role must be based in Central Seattle/Bellevue and able to work in an office 2-3 days/week with some flexibility to work outside office hours as needed
  • This role will initially be hired on a contract basis with the intention of the position becoming a full-time role based on performance.
