Overview
Drive financial clarity and strategic insight across MEPPI by leading the company’s business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. In this role, you will serve as the primary owner of the FP&A software solution, guiding its implementation, optimization, and adoption across departments. Your work will empower leaders with accurate, actionable financial insights and help align financial planning tools with business strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Planning – Lead annual and mid-year business planning cycles across MEPPI divisions. Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Process Leadership – Guide internal stakeholders on planning timelines, expectations, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Software Management – Promote, manage, and optimize the use of MEPPI’s FP&A software across the organization. Lead configuration and implementation efforts in partnership with IT and software vendors.
- Training & Support – Deliver hands-on training and create documentation to support effective and consistent use of FP&A systems.
- Reporting & Insights – Design and generate dashboards, custom reports, and executive-level presentations. Analyze financial trends and variances to deliver meaningful, data-driven insights.
- Work cross-functionally to define the short- and long-term roadmap for FP&A tools and processes that support evolving business needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support the development of new business metrics.
- Facilities Planning Support: Analyze space utilization and facility planning data for offices, factories, and warehouses.
- Procurement Oversight – Manage the purchase requisition and order process to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team through goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development planning.
What You’ll Bring
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- Experience – Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Software/ERP Experience – Advanced proficiency in FP&A software and financial modeling, along with ERP and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
- Communcation – Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Problem Solving– Sharp analytical thinking and the ability to translate numbers into strategic action.
- Leadership – Proven ability to manage and develop a team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Organization – Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines across multiple initiatives.
