As Tackle’s Benefits & Total Rewards Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits, employee rewards,  and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plan. As part of the People Operations team, this position provides excellent customer service, continually investigates new benefits programs, improves existing programs, and monitors benefits administration.

The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced technology start-up. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company.

You Will:

    • Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors and employees with accurate eligibility information.
    • Assist with new-hire orientations and onboarding
    • Perform quality checks of benefits-related data
    • Assist employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
    • Distribute all benefits enrollment materials and determine eligibility
    • Enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes
    • Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries
    • Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, and FMLA
    • Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
    • Respond to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment
    • Assist with the open enrollment process
    • Provide necessary reports for allocation/billing charges
    • Partner with business and HR leadership to support Tackle’s Total Rewards philosophy

You Have:

    • Min. 3 years experience in HR/and or benefits administration
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant work experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • A solution-oriented and nimble mindset
    • Ability to prioritize tasks
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
    • Desire and willingness to work 100 percent remote
    • Proficiency in Gsuite
