HubSpots IT Asset Management team is being called upon to achieve a crucial mission; to scale the lifecycle process of employee hardware and improve HubSpotter productivity and experience along the way.  As manager of this team, you’ll have the opportunity to set the vision and plan for how this will be accomplished and to lead your team through its execution.

In this role you’ll work across a global team of technicians to develop innovative solutions for how employee hardware (laptops, monitors, etc) is purchased, inventoried and deployed to HubSpotters. You’ll solve the problem of how to deliver fast and reliable hardware service in every region of the world to enable a seamless employee onboarding and offboarding experience. You’ll get to devise operational systems for ensuring that hardware inventory data is 100% accurate and real time.

In this role you’ll get to: 

  • Scale HubSpots hardware asset management operation for a 15K global employee workforce
  • Build a hardware lifecycle system that is secure, automated and reliable
  • Deliver an accurate inventory management system for the thousands of hardware devices HubSpot manages to enable financial, regulatory and operational diligence
  • Develop partnerships with global hardware vendors to enable the lifecycle system at growing scale in all regions
  • Enable a high quality employee onboarding and off-boarding process through the hardware lifecycle system
  • Measure and increase employee productivity based on hardware solutions the team provides
  • Develop and coach a growing team of technicians allowing them to increase their impact on the team mission

We are looking for people who have:

  • 5 + years leading an IT asset management team through growing scale
  • Experience building teams to deliver at growing scale; effectively marrying people, process and systems for success
  • Experience delivering business value using best in breed IT asset management solutions like Service Now
  • Experience negotiating partnerships with third party vendors
  • An ability to develop and enhance IT asset lifecycle processes
  • Strong analytical abilities; experience running, publishing and delivering reporting to multiple partners
  • Strong project management skills and experience being predictable in completing projects
  • Experience being proactive; not hesitating to launch an initiative you believe will have clear value
  • A willingness and comfort communicating with stakeholders at all levels
