But contrary to the container, most surrounding processes have not been standardized nor innovated—and are still frustratingly complex, manual, and error-prone.

Junior HR Administrator(f/m/d)

We are searching for a high-energy, engaging People Operations Associate to continuously set up our people operations function together with our Talent team at xChange. You will drive and continuously improve our candidate and employee experience by not only being the go-to person for all administrative and organizational HR topics but also actively navigating all employees and leads through the journey.

You’ll be joining a Series B startup of 280+ people which is planned to double by the end of 2022. Hence, the ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced start-up environments, taking full ownership and building seamless, scalable processes, ultimately creating an exceptional employee experience.

Job requirements

Your responsibilities in a nutshell

  • Create a world-class employee experience throughout the whole employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
  • Take full ownership of all administrative HR topics including relocation and visas processes
  • Draw up employment contracts, salary and supplementary agreements etc.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of daily operational tasks
  • Take care of digital and analog personnel files
  • Be the go-to person for our leads and employees in regard to all personal and administrative HR questions and build strong relationships
  • Support the Talent team in a great variety of topics and projects, e.g., employer branding, feedback processes, and more

  • First experience in people operations, ideally in an international and fast-growth environment
  • A strong relationship and network builder – you are highly communicative and empathetic, no matter if you are on the phone, in the office, or sending e-mails
  • You are diligent, well-structured, and reliable – you have all statuses, numbers, and next steps in place at any time to keep a clear head even in wild times
  • Excellent German & English skills – you can guide people precisely through highly administrative topics in both languages
  • You are proactive, persistent, and convincing – you know how to support our new team members best in their relocation, visa & work permit processes
