About This Role
Overview:Â As a Scrum Lead , you’ll play a crucial role in guiding and empowering software teams to achieve their full potential through the effective adoption of Scrum practices. Leveraging your extensive experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies, you will mentor Scrum Masters, address cross-team impediments, and promote collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Scrum Masters to ensure effective implementation of Scrum methodology.
- Address impediments that impact multiple Scrum squads and facilitate resolution.
- Drive collaboration among department leadership, Product Directors, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate Scrum of Scrums meetings and oversee follow-up actions to drive progress.
- Contribute to the development of organizational standards and best practices for Agile adoption.
- Provide guidance on metrics gathering and analysis to support decision-making.
- Champion the advancement of Agile practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines across all teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align Scrum efforts with corporate objectives and customer needs.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 8 to 11 years of experience in Scrum roles with software development teams.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive change and inspire teams.
- Strong communication and facilitation abilities to influence outcomes at all levels.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and development tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting Scrum ceremonies and facilitating Scrum of Scrums meetings.
- Maintains and reports the team’s performance metrics and ensures continuous improvement in delivery.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to envision future states and drive organizational growth.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in presenting to and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Track record of success in leading and coaching Scrum teams to achieve high performance.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, with experience in continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret metrics to drive decision-making.
- Certified Scrum Master is preferred.
