HubSpot is looking for a Legal Intern to join the Legal & Compliance Team in Summer 2023!

This role requires full-time (40 hours/week) availability from June-August 2023, either Remote (US), Flex, Or in-office (Cambridge, MA).

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • See what in-house legal practice is like for a fast-paced and global company.
  • Work independently with the support of a HubSpot Legal & Compliance team member.
  • Support cross-functional business partners as needed by understanding company objectives and completing assignments.
  • Have the opportunity to work closely with Legal & Compliance team members on various assignments and attend team meetings.
  • Work on a variety of projects across a range of practice areas which may include; commercial contracts, data privacy, intellectual property, global mobility and immigration, technology compliance, risk management, and other general corporate matters.

We are looking for people who:

  • Are currently enrolled in an educational program pursuing a Legal profession.
  • Are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and have superior organizational skills.
  • Are self-starters and successful with working independently on various projects.
  • Have a strong interest in obtaining in-house counsel experience in the Tech space.
  • Are able to commit to working full-time, 40 hours a week, from June-Mid August.
  • Demonstrate the ability to drive projects and take initiative, while also enjoying collaborating with others.
  • Have excellent communication, research and writing skills. Adaptable to communication channels such as Slack and Zoom.

Cash compensation range: 30-30 USD Hourly

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
