About the Job

As the founding member of our new Product Operations team, you will help build out this critical new function at TaskRabbit.  The Product Operations team mission is to help the Product team build and deliver impactful work for our business and customers.  Product Operations will become a trusted partner to Product and Engineering, working to ensure teams operate efficiently at scale by creating well defined product development processes, establishing clear lines of communication and structures for working with cross-functional partners, and leveraging customer and business insights.  You will help build out this discipline, establish best practices and clarity around the role and eventually build a team under you to support.

  • Track, clarify and communicate product priorities, status, launches, and results with key stakeholders and partners across the company.
  • Own product launch readiness to ensure that customer facing teams are ready with the information and processes required to support new products.
  • Collect, quantify & prioritize product-related challenges to be considered by product and engineering in future development. Uplevel the understanding of how the product is being used in the real world.
  • Own and manage the yearly OKR product process including timelines, coordination, and cross team dependencies
  • Become a product expert for all things TaskRabbit to provide support to the product team when triaging issues or sharing information and processes to support new product launches.
  • Manage key product meetings included EDDP All Hands and the Product Monthly Review (curating high quality agenda’s, distilling content, facilitating the meeting and making continuous improvements to achieve the best outcomes).
  • Manage and develop the tools, best practices, and resources used by our product teams to ensure we’re working effectively and efficiently.


  • Experience working directly with Product teams, driving cross functional projects that improve a user experience, and driving results amongst competing priorities and metrics
  • Experience working with operational teams, understanding their needs and advocating for them
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills. Someone who can move seamlessly between conversing with engineers, operations teams, and senior executives
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in operations, analytics, or product strategy for organizations
  • 2+ years experience managing and developing a team, building out strategy and structure, and communicating team vision across a broader organization
