Overview

The Customer Demand Automation team at HubSpot is seeking an innovative and customer-focused Marketing Manager to drive automation programs that enhance customer experiences, streamline sales processes, and generate demand for HubSpot.

HubSpot’s suite of products is more expansive than ever, but today our GTM relies too heavily on humans to identify opportunities for customers to upgrade and find new products to help their business grow better. We need to scale our mid- and up-market automation to streamline human-led sales processes and offer a more dynamic, proactive approach to customer sales.

In this role, you’ll use cutting-edge marketing automation & AI to connect customers with the right additional products at exactly the right time. You will build programs from the ground up, optimize existing programs for the new age, and unearth opportunities to create efficiency and add value.

Your work will shape our customers’ interactions with HubSpot, scale demand, and give our customer-facing team time back to do what they do best – helping customers.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Own every element of your program from top to bottom — from strategy to defining metrics, and execution to reporting.
  • Be an internal thought leader on what your audience and programs need to be successful – blending together deep customer insight and demand generation best practices.
  • Design, write, and build emails and automation. You’ll be responsible for the positioning, segmentation, and basic operations.
  • Scale AI in marketing automation in new and innovative contexts.
  • Build novel, worldclass automation using data-driven decision-making, creativity and technologies.
  • Partner across the business – especially with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales – to find new opportunities for efficiency, expanding your program and creating holistic customer experiences across channels.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and recommendations.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly data-driven with the tenacity and skills to identify trends in data, and curiosity to discover the ‘why’.
  • Motivated to deliver delightful customer AND frictionless sales experiences.
  • Skilled in crafting automated customer experiences.
  • Comfortable transitioning between strategic planning and technical execution.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Deeply curious about and/or experienced with leveraging AI in demand-driving programs at scale.

You should have the following skills or experiences:

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Fluency in data analysis and interpetation to drive marketing strategy
  • Experience in email marketing and marketing automation
  • Ability to re-invent and not just execute on status quo, comfortable with change and a fast-paced environment
  • Proven expertise in project management and cross-group collaboration
  • Experimental mindset and experience running growth-focused experiments

Experience with B2B growth marketing, revenue operations, and/or customer success would be a plus!
