The Policy Governance Business Partner will be responsible for maintaining the Sales Policy document, which includes reviewing any requested changes to ensure they are aligned with the direction of the business, the overall roadmap, and identified company goals. This role will work cross-functionally with various teams to maintain a proven understanding of business processes and identify any concerns related to current policies and make recommendations for change/updates. Design, coordinate, and implement the policy framework for all sales policies, standards, procedures, and plans, in partnership with key partners. Does this sound like you?

This position will support the Sales Operations Management team in scheduling meetings, providing strategic advice regarding policy updates/changes, and outline identified risks or roadblocks to current and/or upcoming projects with a proposal on next steps. This person will establish, document, and broadly communicate policy information to the sales/field organization, outlining how to build, update, and deprecate sales policies.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with the leadership team to build programs that scale the organization
  • Collaborate with inline management and provide cadenced mentorship and updates
  • Monitors and analyzes organizational trends and activities
  • Use analytical capabilities to influence business partners with recommendations that are based on valuable data
  • Responsible for recognizing, assessing, and communicating important policy issues to partners
  • Provides strategic advice and mentorship for policy developments and/or needed updates
  • Leads projects, identifies key issues, and assists in the organization of the teams work
  • Drive company-wide initiatives and coordinate enablement to the field
  • Serve as a business partner to Sales Operations leader(s) and be the ambassador of controls and compliance
  • Identify and lead potential risks to policy changes and project timelines
  • Become the point of contact for all policy-related questions and ensure all changes are in line with the companies goals and roadmap and business plan/objectives
  • Empower individuals to complete vital tasks on time and providing updates to leadership regarding any roadblocks

What You Bring Along:

  • 5+ years of proven ability managing projects, creating policy documents, and partnering with leadership teams to guide organizational growth and transformation
  • Strong preference for those who have supported a Business and/or Sales Operations organization
  • Effective history of leadership and collecting data from various sources and business units
  • Ability to use good judgment to make decisions in a timely manner under pressure
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action and scale
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations, comfortable working in high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Skills Required:
  • Microsoft Office Suite + Google Workspace (formally G-Suite)
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytics skills
  • Superior writing skills and be able to create polished business documents
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
