This is a unique opportunity. Our team joined SailPoint as part of the recent acquisition of Intello, a high-growth venture-backed startup evangelizing SaaS management. As such, you’d have the ability to work in a fast-paced high-growth environment while having the beneﬁts of working at a publicly traded leading cybersecurity company.
SailPoint is looking for a Principal Product Manager to take ownership of product initiatives on the SaaS Management team. This position will require a unique blend of someone with a go-getter attitude that is excited about individually contributing while being able to see the more strategic bigger picture initiatives. Additionally, a technical understanding (and enthusiasm) of enterprise SaaS and the rapidly evolving landscape is critical.
The product manager will work with customers, internal stakeholders, including peer product managers from other lines of business, to help shape the vision and execute on delivering value that will be leveraged across the portfolio of SailPoint products. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous challenges and working in a ﬂuid, fast-paced environment.
Participate in all areas of the product lifecycle from ideation, user research, gathering requirements, to launch readiness.
Drive product innovation and opportunities through feedback from our customers, internal stakeholders, and partners, as well as market data.
Engage with stakeholders to scope work, understand the impact, and gain consensus.
Partner with engineering to develop, prioritize and manage the product backlog in a lean/agile environment.
Maintain roadmap and coordinate adoption of deliverables with other product lines.
Help deﬁne success metrics and measure the impact and results of new solutions.
Represent SailPoint at industry events and with strategic customers and prospects.
Minimum of 10 years of experience successfully bringing products to market in a product manager role.
Experience managing SaaS products in a fast-growth iterative environment.
Demonstrated success in working with engineering teams to plan, develop, reﬁne, and launch successful enterprise SaaS products.
Proven experience working with product marketing, marketing, and sales to successfully launch new products and enhancements to the market.
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
We care less about your degrees and where you went to school, more important that you have relevant experience and strong technical aptitude.
Our whole team is remote and you’ll have the ability to work from anywhere (HQ is in Austin).
