About the role

FireHydrant is hiring a Recruiting Operations Specialist to support our growing People team! This pivotal role will own the design and building out of workflows to help scale our recruiting process, play a crucial role in candidate experience, and collaborate with team members across the organization to ensure staff have what they need to deliver an incredible interview experience.

The work you’ll do

  • Contribute to a more disciplined recruiting function by developing frameworks and workflows for launching new initiatives, ensure the accuracy of our data, defining and measuring key performance metrics, and curating dashboards that help us interpret and draw conclusions from data
  • Provide exceptional support to all candidates, the Recruiting team, hiring teams, and new hires
  • Schedule all interviews for hiring teams while ensuring we keep consistent momentum for the candidate
  • Partner with HRIS/Technology team in ATS Implementation, configuration, and training
  • Partner with Marketing and People teammates to develop brand attraction initiatives that support recruiting
  • Help train and implement key hiring technologies

We’re looking for someone who

  • Leads with empathy and is passionate about helping to enable and support an inclusive and equitable recruiting experience
  • Has demonstrated experience working with applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse
  • Has a keen eye for detail, is process-oriented, and has excellent organizational skills, allowing them to keep everything moving smoothly and accurately with minimal guidance

What to expect 

In one month, you’ll start to

  • Own scheduling for all open roles across FireHydrant utilizing documentation set by the recruiting team
  • Own the offer acceptance to onboarding handoff process including offer letters and employee agreements
  • Identify at least 2-3 areas for immediate recruiting process improvement
  • Create interview processes and scorecards in Greenhouse
  • Proactively identify recruiting coordination needs or roadblocks

In three months, you’ll

  • Fully own candidate experience and be responsible for moving roughly 100 candidates in pipeline forward/communicating next steps across the company
  • Have created documentation related to the recruiting process at FireHydrant
  • Begin to streamline the coordinator process to scale

In 6 months, you’ll

  • Have implemented at least one process improvement in Greenhouse
  • Have implemented at least one process improvement to the recruitment process at FireHydrant
  • Be the Greenhouse and recruitment reporting SME

In one year, you’ll

  • Be able to teach others operational functionality of Greenhouse and train other coordinators

FireHydrant believes that everyone should be compensated fairly and we strive for transparency within our organization and the industry. We set our salaries at the 75th percentile of pay for the San Francisco market using compensation data from hundreds of companies at our stage. Additionally, everyone in a given role is paid the same without adjusting for locality. The salary for this position is $105,000 or $135,000 depending on leveling.
