We are actively looking for a Regional Marketing Manager with a strong background in Field marketing (bonus: demand generation skills and/or virtual event experience) who is proven as a highly organized, self-starter. In this role, you will be responsible for building, driving, planning, and executing extraordinary marketing programs; targeting prospects and existing customers; as well as contributing to the success of the sales team’s pipeline goals. This role will involve daily interaction with the field sales team and cross-functional stakeholders, and requires a combination of strong planning, organizational, and execution skills. Open source or developer marketing experience a bonus.

Responsibilities

    • Help drive adoption, and lead generation activity in developing qualified sales leads with the goal to help pipeline acceleration and brand awareness within the region or customer account
    • Align, collaborate, and engage with regional sales leadership
    • Craft and execute targeted programs to meet regional targets, including but not limited to digital and in-person field events, account-based marketing, regional webinars, trade-shows, Grafana hosted events and more
    • Create landing pages, develop email strategy, plan follow up for the programs in close collaboration with the Sales & SDR teams
    • Manage logistics, speakers, agendas, landing pages, digital promotion strategy for programs
    • Analyze and monitor program success and influence and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements

    • Minimum 3-5 years experience in marketing, regional or field ideally in open source
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
    • Willingness to get your hands dirty, have a “can-do” attitude and work effectively with cross functional teams
    • Ability to pay maniacal attention to detail, strong project management and time management skills
    • Experience working with digital marketing programs and events
    • Salesforce experience required, Marketo, DemandTools experience a bonus
    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities
    • Ability to travel at least 30% (Post COVID-19) in support of programs and company meetings
