Resource Manager

The Resource Manager supports the tactical functions associated with the collection and maintenance of both resource and project data used to support resource management.  This individual works with project managers, Services leadership and Operations team to execute the resource management processes.


  • Prepare resource worksheets/data for weekly distribution, review and updates
  • Compile and analyze resource management reports (available resources, current resource allocations, resource needs due to changing project needs, etc) for delivery to PS management
  • Lead Weekly Resource Availability meeting with project managers to ensure that resource allocation, availability and forecast overviews are accurate and up to date,  and that updates are completed in a timely fashion
  • Prepare for and lead weekly staffing meeting with PS Leadership. Ensure all notes, action and follow-up items are captured, and distributed
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of staffing requests and prioritizing resource requests, working with Services Leadership and other team members to ensure the right staff assignments are made in the right timeframes
  • Flag resource allocation conflicts to Services Leadership to allow for resolution
  • Create regular and ad hoc resource management reports as applicable
  • Review and recommend modifications to internal processes, and conduct research to identify alternate staffing solutions and/or alternate processes for improvement
  • Work with Partner Manager on third party candidate sourcing


  • At least 2-3 years work experience in resource management or related filed; Professional Services experience highly preferred
  • RMCP certification is preferred to provide needed resource management process knowledge
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and analytical skills
  • Strong oral presentation, listen and influencing skills
  • Proven collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with resource automation systems and software
  • Highly skilled in use of spreadsheet tools e.g. Excel, Smartsheet
  • Familiarity with forecasting processes and tools

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
