About the role

FireHydrant is excited to be hiring a Sales Operations Lead to join our growing Sales organization. The person in this role will help us continue to scale our organization efficiently. As the first teammate dedicated to Sales Operations, this person has the opportunity to heavily influence our strategy and act as a force multiplier. We trust that this person will have an informed opinion, but will be open to feedback while continuously improving.

The work you’ll do

  • Own the sales operations vision and strategy while also leading its execution.
  • Establish highly repeatable (and scalable) sales operations, reporting methodologies and processes.
  • Evolve the sales motion, surfacing insights that result in higher productivity for the team, while ensuring that sales velocity remains strong despite increasing complexity.
  • Increase Account Executive, Solutions Engineering and Business Development Representative efficiency and remove operational drag within the sales process.
  • Leverage internal and market data to maintain up to date competitive intelligence
  • Partner with cross functional leaders to facilitate ongoing optimization and load balancing of sales coverage, account assignments and manager hierarchies.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and IT to streamline new sales employee onboarding.

What we’re looking for

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in a Sales org  including relevant work addressing sales enablement, analytics and data strategy.
  • Understanding of core SaaS B2B technology business.
  • Has an informed point-of-view on how to partner effectively with key stakeholders across Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Success/Support.
  • Experience using data to make decisions even amidst ambiguous circumstances.
  • Someone who thrives in working autonomously to create clarity and structure for the Sales organization.
  • Must be highly proficient in Salesforce, Google Workplace, have advanced Excel skills, and technically savvy for other key sales applications.

FireHydrant believes that everyone should be compensated fairly and we strive for transparency within our organization and the industry. We set our salaries at the 75th percentile of pay for the San Francisco market using compensation data from hundreds of companies at our stage. Additionally, everyone in a given role is paid the same without adjusting for locality. Should we enter into the interview process with you, we will inform you of the starting salary for the position upfront.
