Traditional health care is broken. Galileo is here to fix it. We’re a rapidly growing health startup that combines intuitive design and clinical expertise to deliver affordable, quality care for all.

Galileans, as we like to call ourselves, are dedicated to flipping the traditional health care model into a modern solution for today—and beyond. Our empathetic, mission-driven culture puts our patients first, celebrates creative problem solving, and moves quickly to build great products. Our teams work collaboratively, so there’s plenty of day-to-day interaction. We believe in a hybrid, flexible working environment and have team members across the U.S. and the UK.

The Senior Clinical Applications Specialist will partner with clinical staff to document, develop and improve how clinicians leverage technology to deliver affordable, quality care for all.  You’ll be the expert on how health advocates, patient support associates, nurses and physicians should chart, schedule, and plan, regularly leading projects to improve the clinical experience.  You’ll partner with Galileo’s product development team to turn those learnings into action.  You’ll recommend best practices based on your years of experience.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Lead partnerships with clinical staff to understand, establish, and document clinical processes
  • Collaborate with the clinical operations, population health, and data teams to drive critical data collection, reporting, and quality efforts
  • Develop and conduct application training for existing and new clinical staff
  • Evaluate new approaches, procedures or technologies to improve clinician experience and quality of care delivered
  • Act as liaison and point of contact to the electronic medical record vendors
  • Provide continuous support and troubleshooting for electronic medical record and related tools, including ensuring workflows related to outbound task management tools are built out efficiently
  • Partner with the product development team on new initiatives
  • Recommend best practices based upon hands on experience and continuous research on industry standards to keep Galileo up-to-date
