- You’ll add your knowledge, experience, and culture to a centralized team of world-class content designers and grow better together. We’re excited to learn from you!
Note: our Senior II level at HubSpot is equivalent to a Staff level at other companies.

Together, you’ll make a meaningful difference to our customers by making our products and customer experiences easier to understand, use, and enjoy.
Our content designers care about creating great customer experiences while also generating impact for our business. We’re looking for people who are creative and persistent about achieving both without sacrificing one for the other.
Here’s what success in your role looks like:
- Design, deliver, and iterate on end-to-end product experiences that help our customers and our business to grow better

- Manage relationships with cross-functional partners to build trust and increase the value of content design
- Effectively communicate and share your work in progress with a variety of colleagues and leaders
- Contributing to HubSpot’s Trellis design system, Writer, and our other content design systems and tools
- Share your knowledge with other content designers and enable your product partners to hit a high quality bar for their product content
- Advocate for content design that’s iterative, research-based, data-informed, and focused on our customers’ needs
You’ll love this role if you…
- Put users and customers at the center of everything you do
- Understand how your projects align with and advance a company-wide strategy
- Enjoy solving complex problems with clear and simple content design solutions
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and can break it down as part of a team
- Can take ownership of content design at scale across products to drive meaningful results for our customers
- Thrive when collaborating on strategy and vision with partners, leaders, and teams
- Can balance scope, speed, and quality to reach outcomes
- Share our HEART values and practice a growth mindset

One more thing you should know…

We also know that many content designers come from backgrounds with different experiences that might not seem “standard” — and that’s okay! We really value people who bring unique perspectives and add new knowledge and culture to our team.
If you experience impostor syndrome or have a confidence gap, then you might not feel like you “check all the boxes” as you read this job post, and we get that. Sometimes we feel this way, too! But we hope you’ll apply anyway because we’ll take great care in working with you. 🧡
