Senior Director, Revenue Finance


We are seeking a leader who can help scale the Revenue Finance team and partner with our Revenue function at WM Technology.  As a leader of the Revenue Finance team, you’ll play a central role in translating product and operational initiatives into Revenue growth goals, leveraging marketplace insights.  You’ll own planning, target-setting and forecasting for all things Revenue-related and support our Revenue teams in driving results against our growth objectives.  You’ll provide strategic thought partnership with a financial lens for how we capitalize on marketplace opportunities with clients.  In this role, you’ll work closely with our COO and Revenue Leadership to achieve our growth priorities.  This role will report directly to our CFO.

What You’ll Drive

  • Work with Revenue Leadership to develop operating and financial plans to execute against our highest growth priorities
  • Lead the Revenue Finance team in providing reporting and planning tools to support our Revenue teams
  • Develop financial targets for our Revenue teams in support of our growth goals
  • Develop quarterly and annual Revenue forecasts (and supporting KPIs) as part of our enterprise financial planning
  • Partner with Revenue Leadership on planning go-to-market activities, driving operational execution against our goals, tracking productivity of our Revenue teams and guiding investment decisions
  • Ideate on how we can capitalize on monetization opportunities in the marketplace with our clients and develop new sustainable sources of growth
  • Manage the existing Revenue Finance team and continue building-out and scaling this function within Finance

  • You will report to the CFO and partner heavily with our COO and our Revenue Leadership team

Where You’ll Work

  • Remote for now but reporting to Irvine, CA with the expectation of ~1 week per month in Irvine

Who We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Revenue Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance at a technology company, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, and/or Private Equity / Venture Capital
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and success in cross-functional collaboration and managing teams
  • Strong financial modeling / analytical skills and PowerPoint / Google Sheets proficiency; experience with SQL coding a plus
  • Ability to independently drive projects; motivated to learn all aspects of our business
  • Desire to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in partnering with executive leaders
  • Great communication skills, well organized, strong project management skills, ability to multitask and be a team player
  • Bachelor’s degree required
